Med/Surg RN Job Details – Nashua, NH

• Location: Nashua, NH 03060 (New Hampshire nursing jobs)
• Healthcare Setting: Medical/Surgical Adult, Step Down Unit
• Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse (locum tenens)
• Assignment Start Date: October 20, 2025
• Assignment End Date: January 19, 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night shift, 7p-7a (12-hour shifts), 4 shifts/week
• Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880 - $2020 per week
• Orientation: Up to 16 hours (unpaid)
• Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holiday availability required

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Active and unencumbered RN license in New Hampshire
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of recent PCU/Stepdown or telemetry nursing experience
• Strong clinical, analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to wear navy blue scrubs as per facility policy

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process in a Med/Surg Step Down Unit
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, vital signs, and diagnostic results
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians
• Work closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to professional nursing standards
• Exhibit compassion, integrity, collaboration, and clinical excellence in all patient interactions
