Perform FAI/CVI inspections on fleet vehicles Conduct quality preventive maintenance inspections Carry out maintenance repairs to maximize safety and reliability Address Driver Vehicle Inspection Report write ups Diagnose and repair malfunctions to manufacturer specifications Document all work performed on work orders Learn and develop efficiency in Sysco computer programs Conduct electrical repairs and welding projects as needed High school diploma or GED Current and valid driver's license Medium / Heavy duty truck technical training 3 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair Medium / Heavy duty truck OR 2 year school and 1 year of experience Annual Inspector Certification Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Brake Inspector Certification Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities ASE certifications; Automotive or Medium/Heavy Duty Trucks 609 HVAC Certification Working knowledge of computer-based diagnostic software for OEMs and component manufacturers Ability to provide own tools Annual boot & tool allowances Paid vacation and holidays Ongoing job skills and leadership development training Career growth opportunities Comprehensive healthcare benefits
