Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff
Collect deposits, deductibles, or co-insurance payments
Provide estimates for insured and uninsured patients
Evaluate financial status and documentation
Document all pertinent patient account information
Handle inquiries related to billing and payment plans
Make outbound calls for payment plans and follow-ups
Manage accounts assigned to collection agencies
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Proficiency with computers
Familiarity with multiple accounting systems
