CCI is searching for a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a Med-Surg CVU Stepdown Unit contract assignment in Petoskey, MI . (Must have cardiac and reading EKG experience).

• $2150 - $2250 per week, Net take home. Paid Weekly.
• First Day Health/Dental/Vision Benefits through UHC.
• 12-week contract
• Night shift (7p-7a)

The Cardiovascular Registered Nurse uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat patient responses to actual or potential health conditions. The RN is a critical member of the Cardiovascular Unit (CVU) which cares for over 4000 cardiology patients annually; procedures including PTCA, stents, TAVR, Mitra Clip and bi-ventricular pacemakers. Approximately 300 open heart surgery patients (18-24 hours post-op) are discharged from this unit. The CVU also specializes in the care of patients with congestive heart failure and electrophysiology studies.

• EKG comfortability - Required
• Must be willing to float to similar units - Required

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift twenty (20) pounds. Moving, lifting or transferring of patients may involve lifting of up to fifty (50) pounds, as well as assist with weights of more than (100) pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Fine motor skills/visual acuity

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current nursing license, in good standing with the State licensing board
• Minimum of two (2) years experience
