Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced Perioperative Registered Nurse (RN) to join our surgical services team in Hermiston, Oregon. The RN will provide professional nursing care during the pre-anesthesia, Phase I, and Phase II post-anesthesia stages of patient recovery.

This role also includes monitoring local-only OR patients, providing sedation for select procedures, and ensuring a safe, compassionate environment for all surgical patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care throughout the peri-anesthesia process
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Serve as patient advocate and collaborate with surgical team
• Supervise assigned personnel and maintain documentation
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotation for the PACU

Requirements

• Active RN License – Oregon (or compact eligible)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• 2+ years recent PACU or perioperative experience preferred
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
