Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the Director of Investigations & Accidents will review timely completion of accident report investigation and conduct audits in various areas such as : Medication Administration, SKin Care, Significant Medical Events, ADL care, and Lab Specifen collected. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: Significant Medical event Review, Skin care program, Medication administration, ADL Care, Lab Specimens and others. This position is subject to New York Department of Health guidelines and regulations.

Education & Experience required
Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.
Knowledge of theory, practice and principles of management and supervision.
Ability to work well with all staff and collaborate with other disciplines to meet the needs of residents.
Current CPR certification
Ability to evaluate the knowledge and skills of others.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to read and write English.
Combination of education and experience which, in the judgment of the employer, equals above standards
Registered Nurse (RN) required
