Job Description
Join the Boys & Girls Club as a Youth Development Specialist and inspire youth through engaging afterschool programs. You'll lead activities, provide mentorship, and create a safe environment for children ages 5-13, making a meaningful impact in their lives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead fun, engaging activities in education, arts, health & wellness, sports, and leadership development
Provide homework help, mentorship, and positive behavior guidance
Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging space for youth ages 5–13
Supervise groups of students and support positive group dynamics
Keep program spaces organized, clean, and safe
Serve as a role model, mentor, and motivator for young people
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Must be 18 years or older
CPR/First Aid certified—or willing to earn certification within 30 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with youth (paid, volunteer, or personal)
Strong communication skills
Patience and leadership skills
