Job Description
Join Raytheon as a Senior Systems Engineer to enhance shipboard missile systems through the evaluation and integration of advanced software algorithms. Key Responsibilities
Development of embedded tactical missile flight code via System Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis
Identification, design, and execution of studies for new system capabilities
Definition and execution of system level performance studies
Lead development of backlogs, plans, and metrics in an agile framework
Support missile performance analysis including model development and system optimization
Required Qualifications
Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
Experience with simulation-based system level performance evaluation
Experience with MATLAB, C, C++, and/or Object-Oriented design
Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
3 or more years of experience with simulation-based system level performance evaluation
3 or more years of experience with MATLAB, C, C++, and/or Object-Oriented design
Experience developing software in a Unix or Linux environment
Experience supporting activities related to flight tests
Results-oriented work ethic
Familiarity with ship system interfaces and integration
