Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate MRI equipment to make clinical diagnostic images
  • Prepare patients and adjust equipment for MRI procedures
  • Perform MRI procedures accurately and efficiently
  • Assist with staff/student training and orientation
  • Maintain records required by the Radiology Department
  • Consult with radiologists and physicians on exam details

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school
  • Radiography (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) upon hire
  • Less than 1 year of experience in radiologic and MRI terminology, practices, and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) upon hire
  • 1-3 years of training/experience in MRI
