Job Description
We are seeking a CVOR RN for a dynamic role that involves circulating and potentially scrubbing in various surgical procedures. You will work closely with a heart team, along with other surgical specialties such as ortho, robotics, general surgery, ENT, plastics, and neuro. Flexibility is essential, as there may be a requirement to float to the Fanny Allen Ambulatory Campus.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care during surgical procedures.
- Circulate and scrub in surgeries as required.
- Collaborate with the surgical team and maintain sterile techniques.
- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices in the operating room.
- Work two out of the four specified holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- BLS certification is required; CNOR certification is preferred.
- Prior travel experience is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a large teaching hospital setting, or strong skills from a similar facility may be considered.
- Circulating experience is mandatory; scrub experience is preferred.
- Epic experience within the past 2 years is non-negotiable.
- Solid knowledge of surgical procedures including ortho, robotics, general surgery, ENT, plastics, and neuro.
