Job Description
Join ProHealth Physicians as a Medical Receptionist, where your friendly, patient-focused approach will contribute to the health and well-being of our community. This per diem role includes managing patient check-ins, scheduling appointments, and providing support across various locations.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct check-in and check-out process
Answer incoming calls and document patient inquiries in EHR
Conduct outreach to patients requiring appointments or follow-ups
Schedule appointments using standard scheduling protocols
Manage administrative in-basket pools and work queues
Scan documents into the EHR
Balance payments and prepare deposits
Maintain confidentiality of patient information
Provide coverage at other ProHealth locations as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or higher
2+ years of customer service experience OR 1+ years of healthcare related experience
1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a receptionist in a healthcare setting
Experience working with Epic
Previous primary care experience
