Join Verizon as an Outside Plant Technician and ensure our facilities operate at maximum efficiency. You'll work on America's fastest network, maintaining and improving outside plant facilities while collaborating with a dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities
Placing, rearranging and removing outside plant cables and associated hardware
Connecting wires and cables to terminals and hardware
Reading and interpreting engineering work orders
Performing construction work using designated equipment
Operating Company motor vehicles to transport equipment
Climbing ladders and poles, working aloft
Working evenings, weekends, holidays and unscheduled shifts
Required Qualifications
Valid state driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
CDL or the ability to obtain a CDL
Preferred Qualifications
A related Associate Degree
2 or more years of relevant work experience
