Job Description
Join Raytheon as a Senior Manufacturing Development Engineer to lead critical projects that enhance manufacturing processes and product designs. You will play a pivotal role in technical support from early development phases to production, ensuring factory readiness and improving producibility. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to tackle significant challenges while contributing to a safer, more secure world.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate projects across the value streams
Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs)
Provide technical input and peer review to engineering designs
Offer technical guidance to factory engineers
Resolve constraints and improve process and product designs
Recommend process changes for cost, efficiency, and quality
Participate in corrective action investigations
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in STEM (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering)
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Experience working in manufacturing production
Experience with manufacturing process development or improvement
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to identify and eliminate constraints through technical engagements
Technical drawing interpretation and proficiency with CAD solid modeling tools
Hands-on mechanical aptitude and teamwork skills
Experience with technical writing and interpreting technical drawings
Experience with MRP systems
Experience with Manufacturing Readiness Assessments
Current DoD security clearance (secret)
