Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Active Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license
• American Heart Association ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification
• Ability to float between Skagit Valley Hospital and Cascade Valley Hospital as needed

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Perform patient assessments, triage, and interventions for diverse populations
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals
• Accurately document patient care and maintain compliance with hospital policies
• Respond to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions
• Float between healthcare facilities as needed
