🧫 Job Title: Cytotechnologist

Location: 2799 W. Grand Blvd, Detroit, MI 48202
Dept: Pathology Cytology Lab (204345)
Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM (M–F, no weekends/call)
Hours/Week: 40
 

✅ Key Requirements:

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree with completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Cytotechnology program.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years preferred
  • Experience with ThinPrep imaging system
  • FNA adequacy experience a plus
• Certifications:
  • ThinPrep Imaging and ThinPrep Certificates required
  • 2024 or 2025 Proficiency Test completed (for starts after 5/13)
• Skills:
  • Excellent color vision, depth perception, and ability to sit for extended periods at a microscope.
  • Ability to triage and report normal Pap smears.
  • Participation in CME and quality improvement programs.
