Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
Location: Phoenix, AZ - 85016
Assignment Duration: 25 Weeks
Start Date: 10/27/2025
Shifts Available: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Days/Nights – Determined during interview)
Float Requirements: NICU and CVICU

Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced and compassionate PICU Registered Nurses for a long-term travel assignment in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric critical care and the flexibility to float to NICU and CVICU as needed. This is a dynamic opportunity to work in a highly regarded pediatric setting serving diverse and complex medical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, age-appropriate nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and document care in compliance with clinical standards.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Float as needed to NICU and CVICU, providing adaptable and expert-level care.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and participate in maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years RN experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) .
  • Experience in Level III or Level IV NICU settings strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to float to CVICU and NICU .
  • Pediatric hospital experience preferred.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.

Licensure & Certifications:

  • Active RN license in the State of Arizona or a valid compact multistate RN license .
  • AHA - BLS,PALS
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification preferred.
