Job Description

Join DMC Detroit Receiving Hospital as a Radiologic Technologist and utilize your skills in a leading trauma center known for its advanced emergency services. You will perform vital diagnostic imaging, support patient care, and engage in educational activities within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiological exams utilizing imaging equipment
Verify patient identity and review medical records for appropriateness of exams
Interview patients to obtain medical history and assess risk factors
Explain procedures to patients, including risks and alternatives
Set up equipment and acquire appropriate images
Review images and document exceptions from established protocols
Recognize and respond to medical emergencies
Provide post-care instructions to patients
Participate in process improvement activities
Provide imaging education to residents and new employees
Take call/standby as required

Required Qualifications

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography (R)
Successful completion of AHA Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS) training
