Day Shift – 3x12 Hour Shifts
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Licensure Requirements:
Active RN license required

Patient Ratios:
- 1:1 to 1:2 for critical care
- 1:3 for intermediate care
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of PICU experience required
- First-time travelers accepted
Weekend & Holiday Requirements:
- Every other weekend
- Must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
Certifications Required:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NIH Stroke Scale preferred

- IV access: ports, arterial lines, central lines, PICCs
- Procedural sedation
- IV vasopressor administration
- External Ventricular Drain (EVD)
- Ventriculoperitoneal (VP) shunt care
- Intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring
- High-flow nasal cannula (HFNC)
- Endotracheal tube (ETT) management
- Ventilator and tracheostomy care
- Renal failure management
- Peritoneal dialysis
- Wound care
- Trauma care
Preferred Skills:
- ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) experience
