Job Description
Join a highly respected team of advanced practice providers at Stanford Children's Hospital, where Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants collaborate closely with physicians to deliver exceptional care in pediatric cardiology. You will be involved in patient assessment, care planning, and performing critical procedures, ensuring the highest standards in patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in the care and management of patients with acute and chronic complaints
Develop and implement plans of care
Perform medical procedures such as intubation and central line placement
Coordinate inpatient and outpatient care
Participate in education for fellows and residents
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory policies
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (for PA)
Graduate of an accredited PA program
Master's or doctoral degree in nursing from an accredited college or university (for NP)
Graduate of an accredited NP program
Licensure as a Physician Assistant in California
Certification as a Physician Assistant by NCCPA
Licensure as a Registered Nurse in California (for NP)
Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in California
National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA
Preferred Qualifications
Additional board certifications may be required by certain services/departments
