Follows CDC and OSHA guidelines for safety and infection control. Prepares treatment room for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. Places and finishes permanent restorations, complete preliminary Impressions, make and polish temporary crowns, removal of temporary crowns and fitting of permanent crowns and bridges, adjusting occlusions and interproximal, application of sealants and adjustment of partials and dentures. Certification as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) (Preferred) High School Diploma or equivalent Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and equipment.
