Key Responsibilities
Act as the immediate line coordinator for PACS and VR support and management services
Expertly operate departmental digital image acquisition, reporting, and retrieval processes
Manage local operation of PACS and VR, including data integrity and security
Coordinate with IT on network access issues and new technology introduction
Serve as the first point of contact for department queries from radiologists and staff
Conduct regular systems tests and generate departmental reports
Train staff/Radiologists in the use of PACS and VR technology
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
4+ years of experience in PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems)
3+ years of Radiology/cardiology clinical experience and IT/networking experience
Ability to work weekends/on calls as required
Access to reliable transportation & valid US driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally to all staff and physicians
Ability to creatively focus on concrete solutions to issues in a high-stress environment
Knowledge of radiology workflow and strong organizational skills
Maintain a well-organized, clear, 'thinking' approach to all aspects of position
