Key Responsibilities
Operates extracorporeal circulation equipment
Performs assembly, calibration, maintenance, and cleaning of perfusion equipment
Documents clinical perfusion care during surgical and non-surgical procedures
Assists with the development and evaluation of perfusion policies and procedures
Participates in or performs clinical perfusion research
Requires travel out of state and on small plane transport
Follows rotating call schedule
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field
Graduate of an accredited Perfusionist program
State licensure if required by law
Certified as a Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
