Join Alameda Health System as a Radiology Technologist II, where you'll perform diagnostic imaging examinations, ensure patient safety, and assist in the training of new staff while contributing to quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Performs a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment
Carries out general diagnostic and routine fluoroscopic duties
Produces radiographs and transfers patients
Selects proper technical factors and operates imaging equipment
Develops film by automatic processing and utilizes the PACS System
Provides protection in accordance with radiation safety standards
Assists physician in administering opaque media
Maintains adequate records and cleanliness in the department
Assists in training of students and ancillary personnel
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
One year of continuous recent experience as a radiologic technologist
Recent experience in acute care setting in a full service hospital
BLS - Basic Life Support Certification
Fluoroscopy Permit issued by the State of California Department of Health Services
Valid mammography certification (if mammographic examinations are performed)
Valid ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification
Valid certificate as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the State of California Department of Public Health
