Key Responsibilities
Deliver speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing interventions
Evaluate, plan, and implement treatment programs
Establish and communicate patient goals and discharge criteria
Provide caretaker education for therapy carryover
Complete administrative duties and documentation on time
Supervise aides and assist in staff training
Collaborate with healthcare team for patient care
Required Qualifications
Arts or Science degree from an accredited curriculum
Completion of a nine-month full-time Clinical Fellowship Year
Certification of Clinical Competence from ASHA
CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain within six months)
Ability to communicate well personally and professionally
Responsibility, initiative, and honesty
Extensive mobility for patient transfer and treatment tasks
Fine motor coordination and visual/perceptual skills
Preferred Qualifications
One to two years of experience with geriatrics
Qualified new graduates will be considered
