Key Responsibilities
Ensure correct order is obtained and patient is properly prepared for exam.
Utilize appropriate imaging protocol and optimize technical factors.
Prepare and/or administer medications as prescribed.
Evaluate images for proper positioning and technical quality.
Educate and monitor students and other healthcare providers.
Apply principles of magnetic resonance safety.
Assist licensed practitioner with magnetic resonance interventional procedures.
Perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures as prescribed.
Select appropriate pulse sequences based on established protocols.
Required Qualifications
Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Radiologic Technology
American Registry of Radiology Technologist (ARRT) certification
Nuclear Medicine Technologist and Certification Board (NMTCB) certification
American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) certification
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a Related Field of Study
Minimum of 1 year of related work experience
