Key Responsibilities
Aero-performance analysis of tactical aircraft configurations
Wind tunnel test planning, execution, data analysis, and post-test documentation
Aerodynamic database development from wind tunnel, CFD, and flight test data
Integration of aerodynamic data into simulation tools
Flight test planning, execution, and data analysis
Uncertainty Quantification and analysis of aerodynamic data
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
5+ years of work-related engineering experience (Level 3) or 9+ years (Level 4)
3+ years of experience in Aerodynamics and/or Aero-Performance
Experience conducting wind tunnel testing
Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with aerodynamic database development
Understanding of vehicle performance optimization
Experience with 6 degrees of freedom (6-DOF) simulation tools
