As a Manufacturing Engineer I at Raytheon, you will develop and improve manufacturing processes, analyze product specifications, and collaborate with teams to create innovative solutions. This role offers the chance to drive continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring production efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs)
Support daily manufacturing areas with process troubleshooting
Disposition non-conforming material with root cause analysis
Drive Continuous Improvement using Six Sigma principles
Provide real-time technical support to manufacturers
Tool/fixture development for ergonomic processes
Lead corrective action investigations
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
Less than 2 years prior relevant experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF) clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent organizational skills with fine attention to detail
Knowledge of CORE principles and techniques
Technical drawing interpretation, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Proficiency with CAD solid modeling tools (preferably CREO/ProE)
Hands-on mechanical aptitude
Innovative mindset for continuous improvement
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong organization skills with multitasking ability
Proven written and oral communication skills
Current DoD security clearance (secret)
Experience with automated tooling and programming
Experience with Government Furnished Material (GFM) processing
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
