Job Description
Join the ASPCA as a Lead Veterinarian and make a difference in the lives of underserved animals and their owners. Lead a dedicated team while providing high-quality veterinary care in a supportive environment focused on animal welfare and community service.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and monitor medicine and surgery at the ASPCA’s Community Veterinary Clinic
Train veterinarians in HQHVSN techniques and other medical protocols
Support a positive work culture through regular feedback and coaching
Perform high quality, high volume spay/neuter surgical procedures
Provide compassionate, quality preventive and basic care to patients
Required Qualifications
Current California State Veterinary License
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA accredited veterinary college
Minimum one year of experience in high quality, high volume spay/neuter
Minimum three years veterinary experience in small animal medicine and surgery
Demonstrate true leadership abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Previous people management experience
