Job Description
MRG Exams is seeking a dedicated Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician to perform independent medical assessments for veterans, focusing solely on evaluations rather than treatment. You'll review medical records and complete VA Disability Benefits Questionnaires to support accurate disability determinations.
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyze veterans' medical records through a secure web portal
Conduct comprehensive, non-treating assessments of veterans
Complete and submit VA-provided Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs)
Ensure thorough and accurate DBQs are submitted within 24 hours
Assess up to four veterans daily
Required Qualifications
Active MD or DO license in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Strong typing skills
Attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Board certification in Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology
Completed two-year residency in a relevant specialty
