Key Responsibilities of the Radiologic Technologist:
Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process to alleviate any concerns
Position patients correctly to obtain the best images for diagnosis
Operate and maintain imaging equipment in adherence to safety protocols
Ensure the accuracy and quality of images produced
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results
Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of information
Stay current on advancements in imaging technology and best practices in radiology
Requirements:
ARRT (R) certification and state licensure (as applicable).
Minimum of 2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience.
Strong understanding of radiographic imaging techniques and safety standards.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.
