Key Responsibilities
Perform inspection, diagnosis, preventative maintenance, and repair of vehicles and equipment
Utilize diagnostic software to interpret failure modes and initiate necessary repairs
Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA Standards
May be required to assist with emergency breakdowns
Required Qualifications
3+ years’ experience working as a heavy-duty Diesel Mechanic
Valid driver’s license
Experience working on heavy-duty diesel equipment or training from a recognized trade school
Ability to speak and read English well enough to converse and make legible entries
Preferred Qualifications
Hydraulics experience
Experience with diagnostic software such as Premium Tech Tool (Mack), Allison transmission, Cummins, Peterbilt, and Paccar
CDL preferred
Yellow Iron experience
Working knowledge of applicable DOT and OSHA standards
