Registered Nurse (RN) – Infusion Oncology

Location: Janesville, WI - 53548

Shift Schedule: 4x10 Hour Shifts (8:00 AM – 6:30 PM) | 40 Hours/Week

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Oncology Infusion RN to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive and holistic nursing care to patients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other infusion treatments in an outpatient setting. This role emphasizes patient-centered care, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence in oncology nursing practice.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality infusion and oncology nursing care following established policies and procedures.
• Perform patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other medications in compliance with ONS guidelines.
• Document all care accurately and thoroughly using EMR (Epic).
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, side effects, and home care instructions.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and effective care delivery.
• Participate in quality improvement, shared governance, and professional development initiatives.
• Float to other departments as needed based on staffing and competency.
• Maintain patient flow and assist with telephone triage as required in a clinic or ambulatory setting.

Requirements

• License: Active WI RN License or Compact State RN License.
• Certifications:
  • BLS/CPR (Required)
  • ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certification (Required)
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of Oncology or Infusion RN experience preferred (less than 1 year acceptable with strong skills).
• EMR Experience: Epic.
• Holiday Coverage: Required.
