Job Description
Join Pilgrim's as an Onboarding Supervisor for the 3rd shift, where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring new hires feel welcomed and trained effectively. You'll oversee their onboarding journey, enforce safety policies, and foster positive relationships to create a thriving work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure all safety policies and expectations are being met by new hires
Manage the overall experience of new hires from day 1 to 60 days
Administer, track, and evaluate all new hire floor training
Supervise and demonstrate hands-on training for new hires
Develop and promote positive working relationships with new hires, peers, leaders, and clients
Participate in HR & company committees
Fulfill key performance indicators related to new hire retention and safety observations
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED
Bilingual
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently
Must be willing to work in a plant/industrial environment
Must have great attendance record and be in good standing
Preferred Qualifications
Associates Degree or two years of college coursework in Communications, HR, or similar field
Previous training experience
Knowledgeable in all duties of the specific department
Professional communication and demeanor
Highly motivational and positive, considered a great people person
