Requirements
- Current RN license and good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required, NIH preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as an SDU / PCU RN within the last year.
- Strong ability to assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate and delegate the delivery of skilled patient care, as well as demonstrate critical thinking, and consistency in following established processes.
- Must have strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills, as well as assessment skills relating to a variety of conditions/diagnoses.
- Strong familiarity with titration of common drips following facility protocols, and current ACLS guidelines.
- Strong experience with managing cardiac, stroke, respiratory, IV therapy/phlebotomy, medication skills, trauma experience, and other complex/higher acuity patients.
