Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care applying clinical nursing knowledge and skills
Ensure the safety and comfort of patients and families
Provide team leadership to enhance station or unit flow and functioning
Required Qualifications
Graduate from an approved RN nursing program
Valid and current Texas RN license
Current BCLS through American Heart Association
2+ years in a clinical area related to assigned department
CRT experience
Experience leading a team
Proven ability to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population and for CPR, oxygen administration and intravenous therapy
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
Specialty nursing certification appropriate to specialty area assigned
ACLS
2+ years of ambulatory care
Supervisory experience
Windows-based computer skills
