Job Description

Join Optimum Staffing as a Local Class A Standby Driver and earn $25/hour with steady full-time hours and home daily! Enjoy local deliveries with well-maintained trucks and a range of benefits including health insurance and a 401K match.

Key Responsibilities

Local deliveries hauling bread and buns
Drive a Day Cab hauling a Dry Van
Light Touch Freight – Primarily drop & hook, occasional light handling
Must be readily available for dispatch as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid Class A CDL
24 months of recent commercial driving experience
Must be 23 years or older
No DUIs/DWIs in the past 5 years
No more than 3 moving violations in the past 48 months
Must pass a DOT Drug Screen, Physical, and Background Check
