Key Responsibilities
Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties including standard and preventive maintenance
Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic problems
Instruct and advise other technicians regarding maintenance repair procedures
Coach and mentor other level technicians
Interact with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaints
Utilize key functions of Shop Management System and electronic documentation
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Basic tools required
Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
Advanced skilled level repairs including major engine repairs, diesel after treatment or automotive fuel injection repairs required
Four (4) years or more relevant work experience preferred
All other certification as required by location required
Preferred Qualifications
Vocational or Technical Certification Post Secondary degree or Technical Certifications preferred
Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A preferred
ASE Certification in PM, Brakes, A/C, electrical, Electronics or ASE Master Mechanic preferred
