Short description: The facility has 462 licensed beds and is a Level I Adult Trauma Center with a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center; it uses Epic EMR; the facility is located in Des Moines, a major metropolitan hub near the confluence of the Des Moines and Raccoon rivers.
