Key Responsibilities
Assess and establish a presumptive diagnosis and implement treatment plans.
Make accurate entries into the electronic medical record and order diagnostic tests.
Prescribe, adjust, or discontinue medications or therapies.
Evaluate and report significant risks to patient's health to collaborating physician.
Perform procedures within the scope of practice.
Communicate with collaborative physician, patients, and referring staff.
Provide safe, ethical care and health education to patients and families.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Physician Assistant
Certified Physician Assistant (NCCPA)
Basic Life Support Certification
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Nurse Practitioner
