Job Description

As the Manager II of Enterprise Data Privacy, you will lead Navy Federal's Data Privacy Program, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations while fostering a culture of privacy across the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create strategic initiatives that protect member data, driving efficiency and value for the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the roadmap and framework for the enterprise data privacy program
  • Create and maintain policies, standards, and procedures related to privacy
  • Monitor evolving federal and state privacy laws and regulations
  • Oversee metrics for privacy risk reporting
  • Develop and implement privacy training for employees
  • Interface with Internal Audit and external examiners
  • Manage cross-functional program initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in leading and overseeing an enterprise-wide data privacy program in a large organization
  • Significant experience in creating, implementing, and maintaining operational policies, standards, and procedures related to data privacy programs
  • Advanced knowledge of federal and state laws governing data privacy and protection
  • Proven success with large-scale data or project management
  • Advanced knowledge of technical data management and data protection practices
  • Advanced knowledge of risk data architecture and technology solutions
  • Experience interacting with audit and regulatory agencies
  • Advanced knowledge of change management concepts
  • Advanced skill in communication and leadership
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Significant experience with credit union financials and/or NCUA regulations
  • Advanced knowledge of Navy Federal functions and operations
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field
