Job Description

Join our team as a contracted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in Worland, WY, where you will provide essential medical care to service members. This role allows you to enhance your practice while making a meaningful impact on those who have served our country.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct physical exams for various customers including federal and defense
  • Perform occupational health exams including pre- and post-employment and annual physicals
  • Provide written medical opinions based on medical records
  • Complete Veterans Benefits Administration Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs)
  • Document examinee records in appropriate systems
  • Collaborate with professional and clinical staff as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Doctorate from an accredited university or college (for MD, DO)
  • Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Studies from an accredited university or college
  • Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • National Licensing with ANCC or AANP
  • Unrestricted medical licensure in the state of hire
  • Valid BLS OR ACLS certification
  • Ability to obtain DEA license
  • Minimum 2 years of post-graduate experience in General Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Minimum 3 years of post-graduate primary care experience
  • Ability to pass a medical clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain government clearances

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience conducting occupational/disability medical examinations
