Job Description
Join Lifepoint Rehabilitation as a Physical Therapist (PT) where you'll play a crucial role in patient recovery through specialized therapy, while benefiting from a supportive environment and opportunities for advancement.
Key Responsibilities
Provide therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities
Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and team members
Assist with patient scheduling and document care in accordance with regulations
Instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs
Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition
Handle job responsibilities in accordance with Company Code of Business Conduct
Required Qualifications
Graduate of a master's level program in Speech Language Pathology accredited by Education Standards Board
Meets education and experience requirements for Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA
Minimum of six months experience working with adult and geriatric populations
Current and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice
Current CPR certification
Strong organizational and communication skills
