• Shift: 8-hour day shifts, 5 days per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) position
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,560 - $2,750

PACU RN Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States
• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience in PACU, Post-Anesthesia Care, or Pre-Op nursing
• Prior travel nursing experience required (first-time travelers not considered)
• Current certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• EPIC EMR experience highly preferred
• Flu vaccine required during flu season
• Willingness to work every other major holiday

PACU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in PACU and Pre-Operative settings
• Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery processes
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients and staff
