Job Description
Join Biolife Plasma Services as a Health Screener where your role will be vital in ensuring the safety and quality of plasma donations. You will interact with donors, perform essential screenings, and support center operations, all while enjoying the flexibility of part-time work.
Key Responsibilities
Answer phones and greet donors while ensuring safety
Screen new and repeat donors, take and record vital signs and finger stick results
Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records
Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement
Work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
Prolonged glove wear due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens
Preferred Qualifications
1 or more years minimum experience working in a customer or patient facing role
