Job Description
Join the Steamboat Ski Resort as a Hotel Houseperson for Summer 2025! This seasonal full-time role offers employee housing and a chance to contribute to a welcoming team, maintaining cleanliness and supporting the housekeeping department in a stunning mountain environment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness of hallways by removal of soiled linens and trash
Train new houseperson on multiple houseperson duties
Delivery of requested items to guest rooms
Follow established health and safety procedures for using cleaning chemicals
Stock all closets and housekeeping carts
Deliver dirty linens to appropriate places
Clean and vacuum assigned area
Complete daily cleaning project
Compliance with all company policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
Basic knowledge and skills in routine housekeeping
Ability to deal with people positively in stressful situations
Ability to handle heavy laundry and carts using proper lifting methods
Facilitate workflow for Houseperson area with minimum supervision
Operate carpet machine, vacuum, etc.
Maintain flexible work hours
Adhere to all safety policies
Interact positively with guests, co-workers, and management
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to speak Spanish
