Key Responsibilities
Evaluate students and develop tailored strategies to enhance participation in school activities
Supervise occupational therapy assistants
Collaborate with educational teams to develop IEPs and Section 504 Plans
Document all OT services and student progress
Facilitate access to assistive technology and mobility within the school environment
Required Qualifications
National Board Certification for Occupational Therapy
Current Illinois license to practice occupational therapy
Bachelor, Master, or Doctoral degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in school-based therapy
Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Familiarity with assistive technology
