Job Description
Jumpstart your career in education as a Behavior Technician. Work with K–12 special education students, implementing IEPs and supporting their academic and behavioral needs in a structured classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist licensed staff in implementing academic adaptations and IEPs
Support students' self-care and social/behavioral needs individually or in small groups
Maintain a safe and conducive classroom environment
Provide support for students in crisis situations
Utilize diverse learning methods to enhance student engagement
Required Qualifications
60 college credits or higher OR passing score on the Paraeducator Assessment or Paraprofessional Assessment
Professional proficiency in English
U.S. Work Authorization
Preferred Qualifications
ParaPro Certification
Behavioral Technician or PCA experience
Experience in a school setting with children with special needs
