Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance
  • Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse
  • Document outcomes related to resident care and medication administration
  • Assist residents with basic health care needs and daily living activities
  • Communicate changing conditions and care-related concerns to the charge nurse

Required Qualifications

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • Completion of a state-approved Certified Medication Aide/Assistant course
  • Minimum age of 18
  • Long Term Care Experience (3 months required)

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school graduate or GED
  • Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care
