Join Boston Consulting Group as a Payroll Tax Analyst, where you'll play a crucial role in modernizing payroll functions. You will leverage your expertise in tax accounting and reporting to ensure financial accuracy and compliance while driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Perform moderate to complex-level Tax accounting/withholding, reporting, analysis, and audit activities
Analyze and take corrective steps on queries related to tax
Calculate retroactive tax and gross to net calculations including tax withholding
Review and release W-2 files
Ensure tax data integrity for filing
Process W-2 Corrections and reissues as per IRS regulations
Support escalated Tax and Accounting issues
Maintain employee master tax data
Reconcile payroll-related balance sheet accounts
Provide reports to internal teams as required
Required Qualifications
Associates degree or comparable knowledge in payroll-related field
Minimum 3 years Payroll Tax experience
Strong attention to detail and execution
Strong verbal & written communication skills
Strong business acumen
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented and organized
Ability to work collaboratively and independently
Proficient in Microsoft Office: Windows, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
ADP experience is a plus
