Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Acute Care for a travel nursing job in Sitka, Alaska.
Job Description & Requirements

- Shift: 12 hours, days, nights, flexible

Must-Haves (Non-Negotiable):
- Active Alaska RN License (must already have it at the time of submission).
- Flu vaccine (must have or be willing to get).
- Flexibility for both Day & Night shifts as needed.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (all current).
- Nursing degree (ADN, BSN, or Diploma).
- High school diploma or equivalent (basic requirement).
Clinical Expectations:
- Provide and coordinate patient care across all ages.
- Work independently and make clinical decisions during shifts.
- Supervise CNAs/Techs and delegate appropriately.
- Handle emergencies calmly and effectively.
- Follow provider orders, nursing policies, and infection control.
- Document care accurately and report significant changes/incidents.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have):
- Experience in acute care, emergency department, or long-term care.
- Strong adaptability for varied patient populations and situations.
